9. Deflection lying on the stomach
- This exercise serves to stretch the muscles of the abdomen and shoulder girdle and also helps to increase the flexibility of the spine.
- One lies on his stomach and stretches his arms in front of him.
- The second – stands at the level of the partner’s chest, with his feet on the sides of the body of the person lying.
- The helper grasps both wrists and lifts the partner’s ribcage and upper abdomen off the floor by extending the arms.
- The partner should relax, but control the degree of deflection of his spine, without leading to lower back pain.
- Hold for a while, slowly lower your partner to the floor, and switch.
