22-year-old Daria Pluzhnikova is the owner of steel muscles and a strong, sculpted body. Many even compare her with the famous Azerbaijani athlete Bahar Nabiyeva. By the way, the girls are really similar in some ways, especially in their powerful quadriceps.
Childhood, adolescence and the beginning of a sports career
Daria does not hide from her fans that in her teens she was a “tomboy”; in the company of her peers she behaved confidently and, in places, boldly. Physically she was not inferior to the guys. Mom couldn’t cope with raising her, and dad didn’t live in the family. The logical result is bad company and bad excesses. Daria lost weight to 46 kilograms – she was diagnosed with anorexia. A chance acquaintance saved the girl. Pluzhnikova’s life was changed by a young man named Ivan.
Ivan really liked Daria, but the guy was very worried about her lifestyle. I had to take her to the gym and start slowly accustoming her to a healthy lifestyle. The girl gradually got involved, began to train, and said goodbye to bad habits. Ivan became her personal trainer – under his leadership, she gained 26 kg of muscle in 3 years and completely got rid of addictions. Then Pluzhnikova underwent training and mastered the profession of a fitness instructor herself. Ivan again helped with the work – after a while he opened his own gym, where he employed Daria. Now the girl is in excellent competitive shape and takes prizes at local tournaments – championships in the Moscow region and Moscow.
Daria admits that she is not afraid to “pump up” and does not depend on the numbers on the scales. The main thing for her is to please herself and her chosen one. The girl advises her clients to think the same way. Weight is far from the main criterion for the level of athletic training, much less beauty.
Pluzhnikova does not hide the fact that she has a positive attitude towards body positivity. The ability and desire to accept yourself is valuable and important. However, according to her, this does not apply to obesity – only to what we cannot change, for example, freckles, scars, skin tone, nose shape. You can and should fight excess weight. Body positivity cannot be used to justify laziness and weak willpower, the bodybuilder is convinced.
In just three years, she came to her ideal shape – now her body weight is +/- 75 kg. Daria's working weight is impressive: 110 kg – squat, 240 kg – leg press, 65 kg – chest press, deadlift – 95 kg.
