This asana combines an incline stretching and twisting of the body.

  • Sit with your right leg straight and the heel of your left leg up to the crotch.
  • Rotate your torso towards your right leg and make a deep bend, trying to touch either right knee.
  • At the same time, stretch forward with the crown of your head and keep your back straight without hunching.
  • Release the tension in the back of your right thigh with each exhalation.
  • Repeat on the other side.
