Tilting the head to the knee – Janu Shirshasana
This asana combines an incline stretching and twisting of the body.
- Sit with your right leg straight and the heel of your left leg up to the crotch.
- Rotate your torso towards your right leg and make a deep bend, trying to touch either right knee.
- At the same time, stretch forward with the crown of your head and keep your back straight without hunching.
- Release the tension in the back of your right thigh with each exhalation.
- Repeat on the other side.
