Part 3. Moving on to active exercises

Exercise number 11 “Scissors”

Starting position – lying on your back, arms along the body, legs straight.

  • Raise your legs at an angle of about 45 degrees, place your hands under your buttocks, this will help relieve tension from the lower back. 
  • Then start swinging your legs. 
  • The left leg moves to the right, the right to the left, then vice versa, imitating the movement of the scissors.

Why: trains the muscles of the press and legs.
