Exercise 8: Downward Facing Dog
This yoga pose strengthens and stretches the muscles of the shoulders and back.
- Start on all fours. Press on your arms to lift your hips up.
- Continue to bend your knees slightly, distributing your weight evenly over your arms and legs.
- Keeping your back straight, tilt your head towards your legs so that your shoulders are bent over your head.
Hold this pose for up to 1 minute.
