7. Bench press standing

Many experts believe that this exercise is much more effective in developing the upper body than the bench press. It allows you to work out the muscles of the upper chest, shoulder girdle, deltoid muscles.
Performing the “army press”, the athlete loads the triceps to the maximum. The moment when the triceps muscle contracts especially strongly coincide with the moment of maximum stretching. This contributes to gains in mass and muscle strength.
