During her freshman year of university, 2011-2012, Paige Spiranac competed in three University of Arizona Wildcats competitions. She later transferred to San Diego State for her sophomore year. She had a successful 2012-13 season, earning First Team All-Mountain West honors, fifth place at the Cal Classic, sixth place at the Mountain West Championships, and nineteenth place at the NCAA Central Regional.
