6. Stretching in half lotus

Simple preparation of legs for half-splits: exercise photo.
  1. Sit on your buttocks with your legs extended in front of you.
  2. Bend one leg and place the foot on the thigh of the other leg, pulling the foot to the base of the thigh. 
  3. The knee of the upper leg should lie down or be as close to the floor as possible.
  4. Bend your torso forward with your back straight, grasping the foot of your straight leg.
  5. Increase the extension gradually, the lower the torso, the more the back of the thigh is stretched.
  6. Repeat this on the other leg.
